Business as Usual Extended powered by FNB Competition on Jozi FM Terms and Conditions

The promoter of this competition is FNB, a division of FirstRand Bank Limited, with Reg. No. 1929/001225/06 (“FNB”). In these rules, we refer to the above promoter(s) as “the promoter(s)” or “FNB” or “we”. We refer to participants, entrants and winners as “you”.

Entries open at 00:00 on Monday 17 July 2023, and close at 18:00 on Thursday, 10 August 2023.

The promoter(s) reserve the right to extend the competition. Notice of this will be posted.

Winners will be announced on ten selected dates on the JOZIFM Big Breakfast Show, weekdays 06:00-09:00

Subject to these rules, this competition is open to all individuals 18 (eighteen) years and older who live in the Republic of South Africa.

The following persons may not take part in this competition even if they qualify to take part. They will forfeit (give up) any prizes awarded to them:

  1.  Any employee of the promoter(s) or JOZIFM, and its affiliate businesses.
  2.  Any director, member, partner, agent or consultant of the promoter(s) or JOZIFM.
  3.  Any other person who directly or indirectly controls the promoter(s) or the JOZIFM.
  4.  Any supplier of goods and services in connection with this competition.
  5.  The spouse, life partner, siblings, children or parents of any of the persons named in 1,2,3, or 4 above.
  6.  Any person whose accounts and credit agreements with FNB or FirstRand Bank Limited are not in good standing. This means that none of your FNB and/or FirstRand Bank Limited accounts and credit agreements should be overdrawn, or be in arrears, or be in default, or be subject to any legal process with FNB or FirstRand Bank Limited. “Legal process” means any legal proceedings in any court of law involving you and FNB or FirstRand Bank Limited, including but not limited to: collections, liquidation and sequestration proceedings. “Legal process” however excludes debt review as contemplated in Section 86 of the National Credit Act, 2005.

Entry mechanics and prizes:

The radio competition will run from 17 July until 10 August 2023.

  1. The prize is a 185 Eco Flow Delta 2 Portable Power Station to the value of R 25 000.00.
  2.  To enter, you need to nominate a Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (“SME”) on JOZIFM for the SME to stand a chance to the prize. Entries will be taken via JOZIFM’s WhatsApp line, accessible through 064 814 1058 by sending ‘FNB’.
  3.  If the nominated SME is banked with FNB, the SME will win an additional R 5000.00.
  4.  Note: The promotor will only process the personal information so received in relation to this competition.Entrants voluntarily provide their own personal information to take part and adhere to the qualifying criteria.
  5. There is no limit with regards to the number of times you can enter.

Prize fulfilment:

  1. Winners will be notified of their win in writing via JOZIFM on air. The win will be confirmed via email and supporting documents (copy of ID and proof of bank account) and the delivery address requested.
  2. Please note, the installation is for the winner’s account.
  3. The prize is provided “as is” and the promoters disclaim liability however arising out of your use of the prize
  4. Delivery of prizes can take up to 90 days.
